Today’s message is the second of the sermon series on the Beatitudes, found in Matthew 5:1-12. The second beatitude is “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” This is more than just being upset when our loved ones die or when we experience a pain or loss. Just like the other Beatitudes, the second beatitude is about the condition of our heart and mind over our relationship with God. Please join us as we consider the mourning that gets God’s attention.
